Music is an essential part of my creativity and soul. I have performed over 100 concerts and recitals at lovely venues including Cathedrals, and World music festivals. I also compose, and have released two albums of my compositions for classical guitar, and I have also released an album with Filomena Ianni of our original songs and instrumentals. Currently, I am concentrating on the Renaissance lute, giving recitals and composing for the instrument. I am working on an album of lute music which I hope to release in 2025/26.

Concerts
I am currently performing beautiful Renaissance Lute Concerts.
I play these on a wonderful six course lute based on surviving instruments from the 16th Century. The repertoire I play is also from this century. 16th Century lute music is a rich period for composers for the lute. These include Francesco da Milano and John Dowland. As part of these concerts I also include compositions and arrangements by me. The music for the lute is beautiful, and audiences are absolutely fascinated by this divine instrument.

Albums
I have released two albums of my compositions for solo classical guitar. The first album was Raven which is a collection of romantic, classical, and folk inspired compositions. The second album Toucan takes its inspiration from Latin American music, romantic, and also Scottish folk. I have toured these albums, and received warm praise from many listeners of the albums.
The third album, Water & Earth, was a collaboration with Filomena Ianni. This is an album of songs and instrumentals. The style is world music and folk. Filomena sings beautifully in her native Neapolitan, and I in English. Classical guitars interweave harmoniously, with stunning percussion added to several songs, as well as the ethereal handpan.

I play a variety of plucked instruments. For thirty years I have played the classical guitar. In the last few years the lute has become my go to instrument due to its beauty and the way it touches my soul. Pictured below are a selection of my most important instruments.
